3D Objects
5Cathie have been working on recognising both 2Dimensional shapes and 3Dimensional objects. We have been working at learning (or in many cases, revisiting) the vocab involved with shapes, such as ‘faces’, ‘edges’, ‘corners’, ‘vertex’, ‘angles’ and ‘base’ to name a few.
Last week, 5Cathie worked on creating 3 Dimensional objects using playdough and straws. There are some photos below. Can you comment on their names and tell me the 3D object’s attributes (how many faces, edges, corners etc …)? Go on, test your brain power!!!
