The year 6′s have started the year off by talking about persuasive speeches. We looked at the famous and inspirational speech ‘I have a dream’, as spoken by Martin Luther King Jnr on the steps of the Lincoln Centre, Washington in 1963.

We have posted his famous 17 minute speech and a digital story of his life, both hosted on YouTube HERE. On this ‘Martin Luther King Jnr’ page on our blog we have also started sharing our class responses to this renowned speech, and have even shared some of our own ‘I have a dream’ persuasive speeches that we wrote last week.
